In a pair of conference road matches last week, Sher finished undefeated in both singles and doubles play
April 5, 2012 Matadors Post 5-2 Victory at Pacific in Big West Action The Cal State Northridge women's tennis team (10-7, 3-4 Big West) defeated Pacific 5-2 in a Big West Conference match on the Tigers' campus in Stockton. CSUN swept the doubles point and Anna Yang, Maria Pistalu, Jennifer Sher and Lorraine Cheung won singles contests as the Matadors won an important league contest.
April 4, 2012 Anna Yang Named Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week Cal State Northridge junior Anna Yang was named the Big West Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday. In action last week, Yang won her third-straight singles contest and improved to 8-6 on the season with a straight-set victory over UC Irvine's Stephanie Hammel.

Jennifer Sher and Anna Yang, who was named Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week, captured singles contests for CSUN, but the Aggies proved too tough on their home court.

After sweeping the three doubles matches and jumping out to an early 1-0 lead, the Matadors could not keep the momentum going in singles play.

In the Matadors' 6-1 victory over UTEP last week, Sher improved to 10-4 in singles action, all at the No. 1 draw, with a straight-set victory.

After having two of their matches called off over the weekend due to rain, the Matadors hit the courts under the California sun and dispatched a fiesty Polar Bear squad.
March 16, 2012 Matador Tennis Downs Portland 5-2 The Cal State Northridge women's basketball team (7-5) defeated the University of Portland 5-2 Friday afternoon at the Matador Tennis Complex. CSUN swept the doubles point and took four of the six singles matches in dispatching the Pilots.

Jennifer Sher and Lorraine Cheung won singles matches, but the Matadors lost the doubles point and three singles matches in straight sets in a rematch with the Gauchos.

CSUN rallied for an important point in the doubles' contests and then scored a pair of three-set victories in singles play to put away the Palladins.
March 4, 2012 Matadors Can't Survive Marathon Match with Fresno State The Cal State Northridge women's tennis team (5-4) lost 6-1 at Fresno State Sunday afternoon. Playing their second match on the road in as many days, the Matadors saw four singles matches go to three sets, yet came away with the victory in only one of them.
March 3, 2012 CSUN Tennis Records 7-0 Sweep at CSU Bakersfield The Cal State Northridge women's tennis team (5-3) defeated CSU Bakersfield 7-0 in a non-conference match in Bakersfield Saturday afternoon. In sweeping the Roadrunners, the Matadors did not lose a single set and lost only two games out of 26 competed in doubles play.

Senior Nigora Sirojiddinova won the Matadors' only point on the day, captuing her No. 2 singles draw in straight sets.

February 5, 2012 No. 66 Matadors Celebrate Superbowl Sunday with 6-1 Win over Titans The Cal State Northridge women's tennis team (2-2, 1-0 Big West) defeated Cal State Fullerton 6-1 in a Big West Conference match in Fullerton, Calif. on Sunday, Feb. 5. The 66th-ranked Matadors swept the doubles point and then picked up four straight-set victories in singles competition as they evened their season record.
February 1, 2012 Northridge Falls 7-0 to No. 26 Pepperdine The Cal State Northridge women's tennis team (1-2) lost 7-0 to No. 26 Pepperdine Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference contest. The doubles tandem of Nigora Sirojiddinova and Anna Yang had the most success against the Waves, forcing their No. 2 doubles match to hectic finish before falling 9-7.

Sabrina Man-Son-Hing and Anna Yang continued their solid play for the Matadors in south Florida, earning victories in both singles and doubles over the rival Gauchos.

Against the nationally ranked Hurricanes, the Matadors' Jennifer Sher, Anna Yang and Lorraine Cheung all pushed their respective singles matches to a decisive third set before ultimately falling.
